These 11 House Republicans voted with House Democrats to boot Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (GA-14) from the Education and Labor Committee and the Budget Committee for making incendiary and violent statements in the past. Three Republicans, Katko, Kinzinger, and Upton, voted in January to impeach then-President Donald Trump.

The vote was called after House Democrats tried unsuccessfully to convince Republicans to remove the Georgia Republican from her committee assignments on their own.
House Republicans, on the other hand, did not take that step, and House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy of California issued a statement on Wednesday labeling Democrats’ attempt to remove the congresswoman’s committee assignments a “partisan power grab.”
